Employment within the Air Power Development Centre
Employment oppotunities are available within the four sections of the Air Power Development Centre. Each section has its own requirements and are outline below:
Development Section
If you are a member of the RAAF and are interested in a posting to APDC's Development Section you will need to meet the following selection criteria:
- * Substantive Wing Commander (WGCDR) or Squadron Leader (SQNLDR) in the RAAF with a Secret security clearance
- * Have a passion for air and space power
- * A graduate of the Australian Command and Staff College or equivalent
- * Post-graduate qualification in Security Studies, Strategic Studies, International Relations, Air or Space Power etc is desirable
- * Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, including a proven ability to speak to senior military audiences and the public
Doctrine and Education Section
If you are a member of the RAAF and are interested in a posting to APDC's Doctrine and Education Section you will need to meet the following selection criteria:
- * Substantive Wing Commander (WGCDR) or Squadron Leader (SQNLDR) in the RAAF with a Secret security clearance.
- * Have a passion for air and space power
- * Graduate of the Australian Command and Staff College or equivalent
- * Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, including a proven ability to speak to senior military audiences and the public
- * Post-graduate qualification/s in Security Studies, Strategic Studies, International Relations, Air or Space Power-related subject is desirable
