Graduates of the RAAF College and RAAF Academy
In recognition that future air force officers required more education and training than flying skills alone, the RAAF College was established at Point Cook in 1947. This was transformed into the RAAF Academy in 1961, under an affiliation with Melbourne University.
On the opening in 1985 of the Australian Defence Force Academy as a tri-service college of the University of New South Wales, the RAAF Academy reverted to its original role of providing single-service training as the RAAF College.
