Fees

Serving ADF Members and Defence civilians can attend the Conference at no charge.

The registration fee for non-Defence members ($165.00) covers entry to the conference, morning/afternoon teas, lunch, Conference Reception and a bound copy of the proceedings.

All travel and subsistence costs, including accommodation and movements, are the responsibility of the individual delegate and will not be funded by the Conference organisers.

Attendance will be capped at 300 due to venue restrictions so early registration is encouraged to secure your place.

Australian delegates should make payment by cheque, money order or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard). Overseas delegates are required to pay in Australian dollars by money order, bank draft or credit card. Payments should be made to the Collector of Public Monies.

Cancellation & Refunds

  • Cancellations received in writing before 21 October 2011 will receive a full refund.
  • Subsequent cancellations will receive no refund.
  • Registrations may be transferred to another delegate from the same organisation, but the Conference Coordinator must be notified accordingly.

Eligibility
The RAAF History Conference is open to registrations from military and ex-military personnel, Australian Defence organisation employees and the general public. The Chief of Air Force strongly encourages Air Force members to register and attend this event. It promises to be a thoroughly engaging and informative conference.

Registration Desk
Registration will take place between 7.30am and 8.30am. The conference will start promptly at 8.30am.

Catering
Pre-conference coffee, lunch, morning and afternoon teas are included in the Registration Fee. Please advise on the registration sheet if you have specific dietary requirements.

Record of Proceedings
The proceedings of the Conference will be published and sent to all delegates.

Dress
Dress for delegates attending the Conference is normal ‘dress of the day’ for Service members, or business attire as appropriate.

Security
Photographic ID will be required upon registration. Nametags must be worn at all times during the conference and Conference Reception. Bags are not to be left unattended at any time within the conference venue.

Parking
Car parking is available at the conference venue charged at $10.00 per day. Additional parking is available adjacent to the National Convention Centre at $8.00 per day.

Privacy
In registering for this conference, relevant details may be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates (delegate name and organisation only), and may be made available to parties directly related to the conference, including sponsors. By completing the registration form, you acknowledge that the details supplied by you may be used for the above purposes. Should you not wish for your details to be used for these purposes, please tick the appropriate box on the registration form.

Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the Conference and book your travel, you take out an insurance policy of your choice to cover any and every eventuality. The conference organisers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.
