A Conference Reception will be held on the evening of Tuesday 15 March 2016 at the National Convention Centre. All delegates are invited to attend and entry to this function is included in the Conference Registration Fee. Delegates may also bring a guest to the Conference reception for the payment of an additional A$75.
Cancellation & Refunds
- Cancellations received in writing before 26 February 2016 will receive a full refund.
- Subsequent cancellations will receive no refund.
- Registrations may be transferred to another delegate from the same organisation, but the Conference Coordinator must be notified accordingly.
The Conference is open to all members of the Australian Defence Force and the Department of Defence, Defence Industry representatives, ex-Service people and related organisations, media, and the general public.
Registration DeskRegistration will take place between 3.00pm and 5.00pm on Monday 14 March 2016 in the foyer of the National Convention Centre, and again on Tuesday 15 March 2016 between 7.00am and 8.25am. The conference will start promptly at 8.30am.
A separate registration will be held for Defence staff employed within the Canberra region at Russell Offices on the morning of Friday 11 March 2016 between 0900 and 1200. Notification of the exact location and times will be forwarded with confirmation of registration.
Catering Pre-conference coffee, lunch, morning and afternoon teas and the conference reception are included in the Registration Fee. Please advise on the registration sheet if you have specific dietary requirements.
Record of Proceedings The proceedings of the Conference will be published and sent to all delegates.
Dress Dress for delegates attending the Conference is normal ‘dress of the day’ for Service members, or civilian clothing as appropriate.
Dress for the Conference Reception is 'dress of the day' or business suit.
Security Photographic ID will be required upon registration. Nametags must be worn at all times during the conference and conference reception. Bags are not to be left unattended at any time within the conference venue.
Parking Car parking is available at the conference venue charged at $18.00 per day. Additional parking is available adjacent to the National Convention Centre.
Privacy In registering for this conference, relevant details may be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates (delegate name and organisation only), and may be made available to parties directly related to the conference, including sponsors.

Insurance Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the Conference and book your travel, you take out an insurance policy of your choice to cover any and every eventuality. The conference organisers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.
