Dress
Dress throughout the conference is Dress of the Day or Business attire. General Purpose Uniform is not to be worn to the Conference.
Insurance
The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out personal insurance, including cover for travel, accommodation and personal possessions. The Organising Committee does not cover individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the conference or for theft or damage to belongings.
Name Badges
Name badges will be issued when registering at the conference. For security purposes the conference name badge must be worn at all times during the conference and social functions.
Parking
Convenient, secure, underground car parking is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the National Convention Centre Canberra. The entrance to our car park is on Constitution Avenue, between the National Convention Centre Canberra and the Airservices Australia building. Turn at the ‘24 Hr’ car parking sign, head down the ramp and turn right into the car park.

Privacy
The Conference organisers will gather and record personal information necessary for your attendance at the Conference. Personal information will be gathered, stored and disseminated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles. If you do not wish your details to be released to third parties, you must indicate as such when you register.
Smoking
The conference and social functions are non-smoking.
Special Requirements
Please note any special requirements, for example dietary or mobility, when registering for the conference. All special requirements will be forwarded to the venue. For pre-arranged special dietary requirements please make yourself known to the waiting staff at all functions.
Weather
During conference the daily mean maximum temperature is around 23°C and the mean minimum temperature overnight is around 10°C. We recommend you bring a warm clothing that can be layered including a jacket for the evenings.
Proceedings
Proceedings for the conference will be made available to all delegates after the conference. An electronic version will be made available on the conference website and it is expected that a printed version will be sent to all registered conference delegates.
International Delegates
Changing Money
International airports and major hotels provide money-changing facilities. Banks are generally open from Monday to Friday from 9.00am – 5.00pm. Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) are widely available.
Credit Cards
Major credit cards, particularly VISA and Mastercards, are widely accepted.
Currency
All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST.
Electricity
Australian electricity supply is 240V, 50Hz. The connection for appliances is a flat 3-pin plug.
Language
English is the official language of the Conference. Translation services are not provided.
Visas
All international delegates, apart from New Zealand citizens, must obtain a Visa or Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) before travelling to Australia. Please ensure you organise your documentation well in advance of travel.
