Wicked Airmindedness: Why Mobilisation is not Complicated

This presentation is going to be a rollercoaster ride into the world of systems theory and futures to set the scene for the next two days. A bunch of ideas will be explored to help aviators of all backgrounds go deeper into some of the big issues we face. Given the audience’s diversity, the presentation will aim to offer something for everyone. In other words, some parts might go deeper than you personally would like…don’t worry, just enjoy the ride. This is just a taster of a much bigger topic which you can follow up on later—if it whets your appetite. Importantly though, the ideas covered in this session are not just about mobilisation—they speak to many of the challenges facing air power and why we must think differently every time we pull on our uniform.

Consume, Contest, Contribute.

Effective Writing for Defence - Writer's Ignition Workshop

This session will provide attendees with tools and knowledge to write effective research piece, journal article and research proposals.

“Writing clearly about simple issues may be easy, but writing clearly about complex problems and solutions is harder. Clear writing requires clear thinking which is not always easy when dealing with complex or technical topics”
