Overview
Space Command is the newest ADF environmental command, and was formally launched on 22nd March 2022. Space Command brings members of the Navy, Army, Air Force, Australian Public Service and Industry together under an integrated Joint Headquarters. Uniquely, Space Command is a Joint warfighting command.
Space Command will develop and advocate for space-specific priorities across government, industry, allies and our international partners. Space Command will conduct strategic space planning, assist in the development and refinement of space policy, guide scientific and technological space priorities, and will create a resilient and effective space architecture in close collaboration with our allies.
