Overview
Space domain capabilities and effects underpin Australian Defence Force (ADF) operations and are fundamental to the success of military endeavours.
The ability to act from, within and through the space domain enhances operational planning and decision superiority, and enables effective application of force, and survivability. In addition to operating in the space domain, the integrated force will harness space power across the sea, air, land and cyber domains.
Space power’s characteristics of reach, perspective and adaptability are integral to military capability.
The ADF will seek space advantage to enable freedom of action by temporally assuring access and disrupting or denying an adversary use of the space domain, as required.
