Space Domain Awareness (SDA) is both a space power role, and a discrete space mission area.
SDA is a direct contributor to the utilisation of space power as an instrument of military and national power.
SDA seeks to detect, track, identify and characterise objects in space and assess capability and intent in the context of the entire operating environment.
