Wing Commander Ulas Yildirim
Wing Commander Ulas 'Ulie' Yildirim recently completed the Air and Space Power's Air Power Fellowship at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute.
Ulie previously worked, as the Chief Engineer of the Joint Fuels and Lubricant Agency where he was responsible in overseeing the technical integrity of the Australian Defence Force's fuels, oils and lubricant.
Mr Graeme Potger
Graeme Potger was appointed Head of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in September 2021 to develop and drive the Qantas Group's SAF strategy and approach. This includes defining the contribution of SAF to the Group's 2050 net zero emission plan and assisting in the development of innovative, SAF related corporate and consumer propositions. Graeme has over 20 years experience at Qantas in a variety of legal and government roles.
Dr Fraser Thompson
Dr Fraser Thompson is a Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Sun Cable. He is a globally recognised expert on sustainable development and energy transition issues, working with a range of governments, investors and multilateral institutions. Dr Thompson is also the founder of AlphaBeta, an economic strategic firm, headquartered in Singapore, that was acquired by Access Partnership in 2021. He was also a founding director and inaugural President of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in ASEAN (AustCham ASEAN), launched by Prime Minister Malcom Turnbull in Singapore in 2017, and a board member of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore. He is a Rhodes Scholar, with a PhD in Economics from Oxford University.
Mr James Deverell
Mr James Deverell is the Director of CSIRO Futures, the strategic advisory arm of Australia's national science agency. In this role, he has led a number of national-scale initiatives, including the Australian National Outlook the National Hydrogen Roadmap, and the Low Emissions Technology Roadmap. he has over 20 years of experience working with government and commercial clients across four continents in a diverse range of industries including defence, aerospace, energy, mining and manufacturing.
Major General Jason Walk
Major General Jason Walk has served in a variety of regimental appointments including Officer Commanding Joint Movement Control Office and Officer Commanding Transport Company, 1st Combat Service Support Battalion. He has held a range of staff appointments and during his tenure within Army Headquarters, he received a Chief of Army Commendation for his performance.
